Illustration teacher Margaret Anne Suggs work now in National Library
The National Library acquired an archive of the work of one of our wonderful illustration teachers Margaret Anne Suggs in 2023 and they had a reception last night to celebrate a number of new items in their collection.
They have all the work from the Pigin of Howth book (original art, sketches, colour studies, roughs, manuscripts and drafts) and the full sketchbook. They also have the original art for A Chocolate in My Pocket.
We are delighted for Margaret and are very lucky to have her on our teaching team.
