Media Production Management student Washington-bound
BCFE MPM graduand Dáithí O’Toole has been selected for the prestigious Washington Ireland Program (WIP) for the Class of 2024. Initially hesitant, Dáithí applied, undergoing a rigorous selection process. 500 applied but only 30 were selected to participate. His acceptance marks a significant achievement, reflecting his dedication and skills in leadership and community service.
This summer, Dáithí will balance completing his Media Production Management degree, preparing for his WIP placement in Washington, D.C., or New York, and finalising his dissertation. He aims to work in Sports and Media PR, helping young people overcome educational obstacles and celebrating diversity and resilience.
Dáithí credits BCFE’s supportive environment and diverse student culture for his success, highlighting his participation in the Erasmus Plus program in 2022 as pivotal. BCFE congratulates Dáithí and wishes him continued success.
