Pinpoint The Private Eye to be Screened at Animation Dingle
The animated short “Pinpoint -The Private Eye” produced and directed by American Animator Harry Hess, in association with RTE, will be screened at Animation Dingle this year on Friday 22nd March, in celebration of the film’s 40th anniversary.
The film Pinpoint has been rediscovered and lovingly restored and will be shown in honour of Harry Hess, one of the founding fathers of Animation Education in Ireland.
Pili Duncan, teacher of Design on the animation course at BCFE, worked closely with Harry Hess on the making of this historical film, together with her classmates Nollaig Crombie, Yvonne Blackmore, Conrad Winterlich and the students of Visual Communications at NCAD.
